Tasks

• Recording, reviewing, and evaluating incoming goods inspections and/or complaints
• Drafting and specifying notices of defects
• Making decisions on the use of materials following inspection, in accordance with established guidelines
• Preparing quality reports and implementing and monitoring the resulting corrective actions
• Preparing and processing defect notices and special approvals within specified parameters
• Monitoring and ensuring the timely processing of inspection lots
• Communicating with suppliers regarding defect notices
• Ensuring internal communication with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Planning, and Purchasing
• Collaborating on and implementing improvements to workflows and relevant IT systems
• Creating inspection instructions for goods receipt in SAP
  
  

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in the fields of electronics and mechanics
• Professional experience handling supplier complaints and in quality assurance
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing technologies in the fields of mechanics and/or electrical engineering
• In-depth knowledge of SAP, particularly the QM module
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Business-level proficiency in English and German (spoken and written)
• Basic knowledge of SAP
