Which prerequisites and personal qualities you should bring:

• Qualified degree of a general education school (minimum Fachhochschulreife) with good grades in German, mathematics and English

• Knowledge in dealing with common EDP (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Good social behavior
• Willingness to act responsibly and in a team-oriented manner as well as to develop further professionally and personally

Duration of training and vocational school:

Duration of training: 3 years

Vocational school classes take place two days a week in the school center on Bördestraße in Bremen-Lesum.

Working hours, remuneration and vacation entitlement:

Working Hours: Flexitime (core working hours Mon - Thu 09:00 - 15:30 and Fri 09:00 - 14:30)

Leave entitlement: 30 days

About the Team

ArcelorMittal Bremen
As one of the largest employers in the region, ArcelorMittal Bremen GmbH has state-of-the-art facilities at its disposal that can produce more than 3.6 million tons of crude steel per year.
Our company is a modern integrated smelting plant: all plants from pig iron production to sheet metal processing are combined on the site. We thus guarantee short distances that ensure an optimum production process. ArcelorMittal Bremen GmbH is located directly on the lower reaches of the Weser on an approx. seven square kilometre site in the north of Bremen. Steel has been produced here since 1957.
Modern training workshop
In our modern training workshop, trainees in technical professions are prepared for employment in the companies. In company learning projects, knowledge and skills are developed in a practical manner. A team of full-time and company trainers provides intensive professional and personal support throughout the entire training period.
Own training area
The commercial trainees have their own training area in which they prepare as a team for the training phases in the specialist departments. During the training, practical learning and work is carried out in cross-departmental projects.
