Tasks

• Conception of IT solutions and their implementation (including acceptance) in the assigned focus area, often taking into account customer project-specific requirements
• Ensuring the functionality of all tools and systems in the area of responsibility
• Determining requirements and advising the specialist departments and projects, including the needs-based conceptualisation of individual solutions if necessary
• Market analysis and observation with regard to innovative topics and future-oriented trends in the area of responsibility
• Advice on the selection and use of various tools, features and possible applications of engineering applications Selection and use of the various tools, features and possible applications of engineering applications
• Carrying out training courses and workshops for users and key users
• Independent processing of support requests from employees, customers and development
• Close cooperation with the internal specialist departments to identify requirements and develop solution concepts
• Participation in IT committees and corresponding meetings
• Examination and evaluation of new requirements with regard to their feasibility. Creation of concepts and implementation of these in collaboration with the specialist department
• Implementation of assigned work packages as part of IT projects in the area of responsibility, including system maintenance and operational implementation in coordination with the responsible project manager
• Support in the creation of process descriptions and documentation
  
  

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree in computer science or training with several years of professional experience
• Specialised training in the relevant area (infrastructure/applications)
• Good written and spoken English and German
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Experience in working with specialist departments and external service providers
• Many years of professional experience in consulting and application management or in comparable tasks
• Independent and structured way of working, entrepreneurial thinking and willingness to travel Personal qualifications
• Communication and teamwork skills as well as outstanding analytical abilities
• Strong presentation skills and confident demeanour
