Your tasks

• 
  Personnel and material deployment planning
  
• 
  Coordination and interface function with other operating centres
  
• 
  Participation in the redesign or reorganisation of work systems and processes
  
• 
  Support, guidance and management of subordinate employees
  
• 
  Checking and processing orders in accordance with deadlines
  
• 
  Controlling (operating, monitoring, checking) the storage and retrieval of incoming goods (lorries, containers, palletised and loose)
  
• 
  Carrying out stock checks
  
• 
  Sampling of goods
  
• 
  Checking the quantity and condition of goods
  
• 
  Responsibility for maintaining order and cleanliness within the company
  
• 
  Driving and maintaining industrial trucks
  
• 
  Taking responsibility for the careful, proper and hygienic handling of goods and corresponding loading aids
  
• 
  Carrying out the necessary documentation in accordance with specifications
  

Your requirements

• 
  Training in logistics / warehouse / production or technical training
  
• 
  Proven work experience as foreman / supervisor / team leader or similar
  
• 
  Hands-on mentality (‘get things done’ and ‘doer’)
  
• 
  Assertiveness and strength of realisation
  
• 
  Flexibility and ability to work in a team
  
• 
  Forklift licence (forklift licence)
  
• 
  Solid understanding of IT (e.g. knowledge of handhelds)
  
• 
  Confident command of written and spoken German
