Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Aim of the activity
  
• All software engineering activities within a software project; this includes software development, software requirements engineering, software architecture, software design, software validation and verification, and support for bid activities for future projects
• Typically, specialization in a subset of the above activities is done in consultation based on team and project assignment
• Your tasks in detail
  
• Development of software systems for satellite ground systems, cyber security applications and satellite data processing
• Design of interfaces and software architectures
• Development of unit tests as well as support for integration and validation tests
• Documentation for all aforementioned tasks
• Participation in agile projects
• Supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner in the projects
• Co-design of technical offerings

Your qualifications

• Completed studies or training in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Profound experience in object-oriented software development, in C# or Java
• Experience in the following areas is a strong plus:
  
• Web development (e.g. with React, JavaScript, Angular)
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Red Hat / Linux
• Development with RUST or Python
• RESTful API Design
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation, creativity
• Good to very good English skills, good German skills
• Willingness to undertake on-site activities and business trips
