Senior Satellite Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Support spacecraft validation and verification on system level
- Define test specifications for system level tests and verification
- Coordinate system engineering activities
- Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem engineers:
- Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
- Flow down of the satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
- Ensure compliance to the satellite technical requirements
- Define the satellite configuration and manage the satellite internal and external interfaces
- Support of generation the AIT plans and operation plans
- Supervise preparation of satellite tests and review of test results
- Preparation for launch and flight phases
- Support maintenance of spacecraft data bases and simulators
- Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature
Your Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
- Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases AB and in the field of verification
- Experience in technical negotiations with the customer
- Self-managed and proactive working style
- Ability to work with and implement processes
- Ability to work in a team and to coordinate a team
- Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
