Satellite System Engineer - In Orbit Support Coordinator (m/f/d)

Would you like to be part of the team fixing anomalies of in orbit satellites?
We need someone who likes satellites, who is solution oriented as you will be coordinating a team aimed to solve problems related to active satellites in orbit until the end of their livetimes.
Your Tasks
- Being the point of contact with customers of active satellites to understand their needs.
- Being the point of contact with project managers to support them in the current and future projects with respect the In Orbit Support provided by OHB.
- Coordinating several teams supporting multiple flying satellites, performing not only administrative tasks, like shift planning for the on-call, but also ensuring the team is properly sized and keeps the relevant knowledge.
- Crafting and taking action to take the In Orbit Support service to the next level by implementing more robust systems and efficient process via automation

Your Qualifications
- Engineering, Physics or an equivalent degree.
- Professional experience in Satellite System Engineering or similar position so you know about different systems and subsystems in detail.
- Experience in Phases E1, E2 and F is an advantage.
- Good IT knowledge about networking, scripting, AI or other activities related to automation.
- Professional experience dealing with customers and suppliers in the space sector.
- Excellent communication skills in English. German is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Very well organized and structured approach.
- Self-managed and proactive working style.
- Willing to work as part of an international team.
