Spacecraft System Engineer - Operations Development (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
Willing to work with different satellite subsystems, learn about satellite system operations in one or multiple exciting projects related to science, telecommunications, observation, reconnaisace or technology concepts? Then come and join the Operations Development team in OHB!
That is what you should expect to help us if you join:
- Supporting new proposals for space projects from the spacecraft operations development point of view.
- Planning Operations Development activities.
- Defining requirements towards the system, inlcuding satellite and ground.
- Production and validation of User Manuals, Procedures and other operational products.
- Participation to project and mission reviews and test campaigns at need.
- Support Anomaly Resolution on flying satellites may be expected, as part of a 24/7 on-call team
Your Qualifications
- Engineering, Physics or an equivalent degree.
- At least 3 years of Professional experience in Satellite Operations.
- Experience in Phases B/C/D is an advantage.
- Experience developing and validating Flight Procedures is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English. German is an advantage.
- Self-managed and proactive working style.
- Willing to work as part of an international team.
