Test and Verification Engineer AOCS & GNC and Propulsion (m/f/d)
The AOCS & GNC department is responsible for the whole lifecycle of the AOCS/GNC subsystem in accordance with the system requirements. We are responsible for the AOCS & GNC activities for all missions, from the early concept and feasibility studies up to in space commissioning and operation. The core part of our work is to establish an AOCS/GNC architecture, perform the relat-ed analyses, develop the AOCS/GNC software, select and procure the AOCS/GNC hardware, perform the subsystem verification and validation and support system level activities.
Your Tasks
- Verification and Validation of AOCS/GNC subsystems
- AOCS/GNC Test activities at unit (sensors, actuators), subsystem and system levels (integrated spacecraft)
- Technical Support to Procurement of AOCS/GNC equipment (e.g.: sensors, actuators, ground support equipment)
- Specification, design and development of specific AOCS/GNC GSE and Test equipment
- Support to satellite projects from start to customer acceptance
- Support to satellite proposals and system studies for AOCS/GNC topics
- Preparation of technical documentation
Your Qualifications
- Engineering, doctoral degree or comparable qualification in aerospace engineering, mechatronics engineering or similar
- Initial professional experience in a comparable role is a plus
- Experience in the space business, especially with AOCS/GNC equipment, verification and validation processes is a plus
- Good knowledge of Matlab and C programming language
- Experience with Python and/or other scripting languages is a plus
- Experience with development boards and microcontrollers (e.g.: Arduino, Raspberry Pi) is a plus
- High motivation and proactive involvement
- Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in international teams
