For temporary employment of 24 months OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Material and Process Development Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Planning, execution and evaluation of development and verification campaigns
for materials and processes - You should initiate and
drive development activities related to materials and processes for space
products - Being part of
an international team responsible for material and process verification - Responsibility for
planning and management of test campaigns conducted internally and with
external test facilities - Being responsible for all
test activities, verification test documentation and evaluation of the
test results including test report - Support in the
improvement and creation of documents relevant to your work e.g. technical
notes, test procedures or similar
Your Qualifications
- Master in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
qualification - Experience in working
with adhesives, mechanical testing or space applications is advantageous - Experience in proposal
writing for funded projects is beneficial - Willingness
to familiarize yourself with the ECSS-ST-Q-XX standards - Interdisciplinary
mindset, independent and forward-looking way of working - Flexibility, a structured
mindset, as well as the ability to work in an international team - Confident personality and
good communication skills - Strong team-oriented mindset
- Goal-oriented and self-dependent
way of working - Fluent in written and spoken English and the ability to communicate in
German
