AIT Engineer (m/f/d)
Are you passionate about test automation and eager to contribute to the success of satellite testing? At OHB System AG, the test environment consists of thousands of lines of code, brought to life by our dedicated satellite testers. Your role will be to support, maintain, and enhance these implemented solutions, ensuring efficiency and reliability

Your Tasks
- Support test engineers in designing test automation strategies
- Automate repetitive testing tasks to enhance efficiency
- Generalize and ensure the quality of test scripts
- Provide technical support and consultation for testers through code reviews, code guidelines, and training sessions
- Maintain regular and proactive communication with test teams to align on best practices
- Continuously improve and maintain the test automation framework
- Develop coding guidelines for automated test script development
- Deliver comprehensive documentation to support test automation processes
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Initial experience with software projects and scripting languages.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; willingness to learn German is a plus.
Nice to Have :
- Experience in Tcl/Tk, Python, or CCS systems.
- Knowledge of software architecture principles.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Background in object-oriented software development (C#, Java, or C++).
- Experience working in international teams.
