Tasks

• Creation of test specifications and instructions or conception and realisation of automated software tests
• Analysing and reporting test results
• Co-operation with software developers in the implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement measures
• Ensuring the required test coverage
• Initial analysis of customer error messages
• Setting up and maintaining test environments
• Testing and documentation of software and system components; incl. selection of suitable test methods
  
  

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the field of software testing
• Very good written and spoken English, especially technical English
• Completed vocational training in computer science (e.g. FIAN) or technical studies
• Good knowledge of modelling (e.g. LabView)
• Good knowledge of scripting languages e.g. Python
• Good knowledge of testing and debugging tools/frameworks
• Very good written and spoken German
