Project Chief Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- System Engineering responsibilities for satellite missions
- Support the complex technical developments including schedule and cost elements, matching the contractual requirements
- Lead and organize regular reviews/checkpoints during the project
- Lead and organize regular engineering change boards
- Evaluate and control of the running design as well as evaluation of the ongoing development and technical design, including initiation of independent analyses according to system requirements
- Risk and problem assessment including development and implementation of pragmatic solutions
- Initialization of corrective actions in case of deviations - if required, coordination with the customer and implementation of contract change
- Ensure technical information exchange and networking within project team, with internal functional and technical departments and external entities
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in aerospace-engineering, physics or similar qualification, complemented by economics study or relevant experience
- Significant experience as a project chief engineer (m/f/d) or lead system engineer (m/f/d)
- Very good technical and economic understanding, and analytical and soft skills
- Professional experience in similar positions in B/C/D space projects
- High sense of responsibility
- Solution-oriented approach
- Well organized
- Good communication skills
- Very good team working skills and motivation capabilities
- Willingness to consciously learn and broaden your experience
- Good language skills in German and English
