The Aviation JV (Joint Venture) Manager – EMEA is responsible for driving results through World Fuel Services’ physical asset operations acting as the accountable party for the physical asset operation for Aviation Joint Venture in EMEA. The position will have remit and oversight for WFS business interests with focus on safety, Internal leadership of direct reports, operational protocol, logistics management, commercial integration, environmental regulations, and conservative management of the physical asset organization to achieve operational best practices.

Remote Role - High Frequency of Travel mostly around EMEA

Must be Fluent in Germany and English

Principal Responsibilities

• Management & Leadership - Leadership for WFS GPO sites as JV shareholder representative and/or board member at airport operations in EMEA.
• Ensure that correct QHSSE is applied across all WFS JV locations and assets within the regions.
• Board Management and control of site managers to ensure they safely, effectively, and efficiently perform their tasks.
• WFS representative at aviation fueling operations Joint Ventures.
• Customer Service & Business Development - Direct any Customer enquiries to the relevant WFS Commercial or Supply lead.
• Ensure the maintenance of a good working relationship with WFS Commercial & Supply to promote a ‘one team’ mindset.
• Administration of Resources - Plan as required v JV annual airport specific aviation fueling ops budget
• Professional standards - Adequately always represent WFS in a professional manner.
• Application of due diligence and financial regulations.
• Ensure that these values are applied across the workforce including any service providers / dealers operating WFS owned assets.
• Ensure non-conformance or QHSE incident reports are submitted on the day of the occurrence.
• Contingency Plans - Ensure that Crisis Management Planning for WFS personnel, assets and service provider / dealer operated sites is in place and practiced and recorded at regular intervals.
• Ensure Business Continuity Planning is in place as per WFS policy.
• Stockholding and inventory forecasting advice and Monitor fuel deliveries/volumes within the region.
• Support WFS Commercial and Supply in regions as required.

• Maintenance of Succession & Business Continuity Planning within the JV`s
• Successful implementation of Training Program for JV Staff
• Delivery of robust and financially optimal JV OPEX & CAPEX plans

Essential

• Fluent German/English
• Experience of leading management teams is essential.
• Operations management experience is essential within the aviation segment
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.

• Italian, French, Swedish or Danish speaker
